2020 Graduation, During a Pandemic

I want to start off by saying, CONGRATULATIONS to ALL the graduates of 2020! I am proud of each and every one of you. You have worked so hard to get to this very spot! And you DID IT!

I can not imagine, how it must have felt or feel to not have a ceremony, or that family picture with you in your cap and gown. All of the High School seniors missing out on all the senior activities and Prom.

Please do not let this time define you! Today, you’re graduating into one of the worst recessions in a century. Your definition of success is being challenged. The worked essentially closed! You were only allowed to go get gas or food. Everyone having to wear masks. There was a HUGE shortage on cleaning supplies, paper towels and even toilet paper. You will come through and succeed. This too shall pass! Always look for the good.

Please celebrate your accomplishments. Not everyone can say that have graduated High School, let alone College. Be PROUD of yourself. I know that your friends and family are proud of you.

When you go out into the real world, be the change that you wish to see in this world. BE KIND. The world needs YOUR SPARK.

You have spent countless hours studying.

Please go out and Celebrate once all the restrictions are lifted. You need this!

Show the world your beautiful smile where ever you go!

Never let anyone treat you like a yellow starburst. You are a PINK starburst.

This sweet girl, has graduated from UCO, in Edmond OK with her degree in Forensic Science. Not everyone is able to handle this, and I am so proud of her. I have photographed her family several times and they are the sweetest.

Do Not Forget To Smile!
